A student of the College of Law is required to finish the law curriculum within a maximum period of six (6) years from first enrolment IN A SCHOOL OF LAW.

Any student who exceeds the maximum residency period without finishing the law curriculum he/she is enrolled in, shall be automatically dropped from the list of bona fide students of theCollege and shall be refused admission or enrolment.

A student is allowed a maximum leave of absence of four (4) semesters subject to the approval of the Dean. The leave of absence if approved by the Dean of the College of Law shall be excluded for the purpose of determining the maximum residency of a student.
The rules on residency may be relaxed by the Dean of the College of Law for reasons which he may deem meritorious.
