SOLA in cooperation with Bureau of Jail Management and Penology

Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City

Thursday, January 20, 2011, 9AM to 4PM.

Part of SOLA’s internship and outreach program is the semestral jail visit the purpose of which is to extend free legal assistance to qualified inmates with cases pending either in Manila or Quezon City Courts. This kind of activity is a useful way of interacting with inmates and also an effective way of evaluating their current condition inside the curious walls of Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan.

Sharing Simple Joy to Orphans

SOLA in cooperation with DSWD, Manila

DATE: August 19, 2009

The children appreciated the short program and magic show prepared by law interns. The children, mostly orphans, shared their talents in

dancing and singing.  Also present in this event are Ms. Ruth L. Balita, Executive Legal Analyst, Atty. Ryan Quilala, Supervising Layer and our SOLA Director, Atty. Ferdinand A. Tan. It was a memorable activity in a more relaxed setting compared with the usual courtroom drama frequently experienced by law interns and supervising lawyers.
